The wellness score developed by CHC Wellness is based on proven research, making it a more accurate predictor of cost. Measurable biometrics are not the only risks that relate to cost. CHC Wellness uses Health Risk Appraisal (HRA) data that can identify risks equal to or even greater than the cost attributed to the biometric risks. This will give the participant a better idea of focus areas for behavior change. This also provides our clients with a more accurate assessment of the risk they are carrying. Using this data, companies can better focus their benefits on problem areas and prioritize their efforts for the largest impact.
For organizations looking to further analyze the positive impact of their wellness initiatives, CHC Wellness has the ability to integrate insurance claims data into the reporting. By correlating the actual claims* cost of participants with their appropriate risk level, CHC Wellness can show how much employees in each risk category cost. This along with further analysis can provide CHC Wellness with a form of return on investment (ROI) which is far more accurate than using national averages to report cost saving.
